
DRT Policies
Effective August 19, 2024, through May 30, 2025, all DRT students will be on a month-to-month subscription.
You are committing to a weekly slot beginning Aug. 19, 2024.
To terminate services, a 30-day written notice via email is required.
For unavoidable conflicts, sessions can be rescheduled with 48-hour notice, subject to tutor availability. The same tutor and format (in-person or virtual) is not guaranteed and is subject to change without notice.
In lieu of rescheduling a missed group session, your student may drop-in to a Homework Helper session where he/she will be supplied with the missed curriculum to work on.
Makeup sessions must be used within the billing period, and any unused sessions will expire after that period.
Workshops require full payment at the time of registration and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We value collaborating with a student's parents, teachers, and other support providers. However, extended conversations may be subject to a consultation fee.
There is no tutoring the weeks of Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. Our office is also closed on Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, MLK, President’s Day, and Memorial Day. Pricing will be adjusted accordingly on those months, but no other price adjustments will be made for staff development days, individual travel plans, etc.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be via email. Cancellations via phone or text are not accepted.
If you cancel within 48 hours, you will lose that session from your subscription for the month.
If your student is ill or has recent symptoms, tutors can meet virtually. If you opt out of a virtual session, the 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
Arrival Time:
Please do your best to have your student arrive on time. In the event of an unavoidable late arrival, the session will end 55 minutes after the scheduled start time.
If your student arrives before the scheduled start time, they may wait quietly in the waiting room.
Payment:
In order to enroll as a student at DRT, a credit card must be on file. If your credit card number changes, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update our system.
The credit card on file will be charged on the first day of each month.
Refunds: We are not able to offer refunds for any reason.
